Brilliant. Everything was excellent. The room, bathroom, pool, and food was
delicious. Hotel was new and clean.
For me the best region of Spain - calm, without crowds of tourists and shops
with kitsch clothes and souvenirs. A truly beautiful area.
And nothing's like Andalusian wines... :) Want to spend an unforgettable
time in a luxury hotel in a town which shows how the Spanish live? THEN GO
THERE! :)
2008
This is a hotel set in a typical Spanish fishing town. We stayed in an
apartment which was very well kept and equipped. We had a maid every day. We
ate in the hotel restaurant and the food was fantastic.
The hotel was majority Spanish in guests and not much English spoken, but we
got by.
The children 11 and 7 had a ball and made loads of friends. There was an
entertainment team who worked hard, but it was low key and not in your face.
If you want beach bars and English food this hotel will not be for you!
2008
October quiet, but busy at the weekend with Spanish weekenders. Services
were beginning to be closed down (such as pool bar).
Hotel room (apartment) was excellent, staff really helpful and efficient and
friendly. We were on half board and food was good with plenty of choice.
Location at this end of the season not over attractive, but clean if little
grubby.
Recommend you hire a car - the drive into the hills, via the walled town of
Nieble is excellent, passing Minas Rio Tinto and on to Zufre ('Eagle'
village well worth a visit).
Didn't get to Seville, but it's within reach
