Barceló Monasterio De Boltana Location The hotel is
located in Boltaña, capital of the region of Sobrarbe,
where the natural parks of Ordesa and Monte Perdido are
found, in addition to the
Sierra de Guara in the province of Huesca
It is located 90 Km from Huesca
160 Km from Zaragoza,
194 Km from Pamplona.
We stayed
here on our first night from the overnight ferry to Santander. It's a good
drive under the Pyrenees and well away from the hustle of the coast and
ports.
The hotel itself is in some beautiful surroundings, large open space and
lovely scenery.
It reminded me a little of some country clubs I have been to in the UK and I
got the impression was more of a corporate getaway rather than a tourist or
holiday site.
For a one night stopover, on the way to the East coast by car though it was
perfect.
The hotel is clean, with modern amenities in a traditional style.
The staff were welcoming and helpful, and the bar was kept open for us in
the afternoon so we could get some late lunch.
We ate in the hotel that night, and dinner was nice if not overwhelming.
We enjoyed a lovely time in the spa the next morning and although only a day
into our holiday I felt completely relaxed by the time we left.
