Booked
to stay for 3 nights from 3-6 March directly on the website. A fantastic
rate for 3 nights H/B. Didn't quite know what to expect, but the hotel was
an excellent 3/4 star hotel, clean with helpful staff. We asked for a room
on the top floor with a view, which we got. Only problem was the noise at
night (doors banging etc), and not much sound-proofing. Excellent facilities
- indoor heated pool, gym, sauna etc. Even some evening entertainment
despite being off-season. The food was of a high standard, with plenty of
choice, and chefs cooking in the restaurant every evening. The breakfast was
also of the same high standard - couldn't find fault with anything really!
The hotel and resort is geared mainly for Germans, and there were a lot of
Spanish staying in the hotel as well. But all staff speak English. The bus
service to Palma is excellent - €1.10 from the promenade. Overall, a high
standard hotel in a very convenient position. Highly recomended!
2008
Just
came back from a 2-night stay at Barcelo Pueblo Park. The hotel is very nice
and near the beach. The pool area is good but the indoor pool is not heated.
The only complaint is about the breakfast time, from 8am to 10:30am. Very
short time resulting difficult to find a table if you come after 9am. The
rooms are clean and spacious and the bar is good but a bit noisy. The price
is the best reason to stay here. I Paid only 100 euros for 2 nights
including breakfast and dinner.

I stayed
at the Barcelo Pueblo park in Jan with my family, 2 kids age 7,10. The
hotel is aiming for a 4 star rating and the facilities are top class and it
should achieve that rating with no fuss. The highlight was the food. A
superb breakfast and dinner restaurant. Top class food and the house wine
was great. A nice friendly bar. The family accommodation was like an
apartment with top class facilities. The outdoor pool was unused as it was
january 2005. The indoor pool was clean and the showers were great. A short
walk to the promenade/beach. The resort Playa de Palma mainly caters for
German tourists which explains why the standards are high but all shops on
the promenade display in German and whilst this was not a problem for us may
unnerve the chav brigade from the UK. Took a trainj trip to Soller. While
the train journey was good the town of Soller was routine and nothing to do.
The winter train timings are also bizarre. Bus routes into town excellent
from the hotel, use bus no 23 or 15. very cheap too

estupendo hotel situado en la playa de palma.el hotel tiene apartamentos y
habitaciones. los apartamentos disponen de cocina y una terraza.
el buffet esta muy bien y el personal es atento.
buenas conexiones con palma tan solo a 15 min en bus y las paradas estan muy
cercas.
