stars hotel at a bargain price. Wonderful room and a great buffet breakfast.

Hotel, Went to the theme park (5 min walking) Isla Magica and it was great.
Friendly staff , very clean , a true 5 star Hotel. The Restaurant its only
part we disliked, if you want to eat something ask for room service.

From the other reviews I was
concerned that the hotel would be very quiet and have no atmosphere but when
I stayed in Sep 06 there was a Nike conference on and there were hundreds of
people staying there. Once over the initial shock of a sea of Nike clothing
and shoes we had a very pleasant stay even though the bar and breakfast were
a little busy due to the conference.
However the large pool was empty and after a morning of sight -seeing in 40
degree heat very welcome!
Yes the hotel is a good 1/2 hour - 40 mins walk into the old town which is
not possible when very hot but there are buses that stop almost outside the
hotel which are very frequent . The C1 is 1 euro and takes you on a circular
route to the shopping area and the sights of the old town (takes about
40mins to get to the Royal Palace). Don't be put off by the location as very
easy to get into town on this bus.
Generally the hotel staff were helpful and pleasant, the room was a good
size and the breakfast selection very good. The dinner restaurant however is
small and a bit disappointing for a five star hotel.
All in all then for the price this was a very good deal and I would
recommend it - however make sure you get breakfast included as there is
nowhere nearby to get anything unless you take the bus into town which takes
a good 40 mins.

We were
a group of 8 (female) and we were given 4 rooms together which was great-
often when in a group this doesnt happen. The rooms and bathrooms were
fantastic, the bar area was very relaxing (although alittle expensive) We
had no problem with taxis and it was worth staying a little out of town to
get this standard for the price- we paid just under 40pounds per room per
night. I would not hesitate to stay again. The open top bus tour has a
nearby stop (next to theme park)
